Which dark-store company should you approach? The better question is: which company currently publishes the route that matches what you want to do? A brand can operate a large quick-commerce network without offering a public franchise or property-submission path.
This directory separates operator/franchise, property and seller routes so you can go to the right official channel instead of relying on third-party “franchise” claims.
How to use this page: Choose your role first, then compare only the routes that are publicly verifiable. “Network exists” and “public opportunity available” are not the same thing.
Choose what you want to do
Run a dark store
Look for official partner, franchise or growth-partner routes.
Lease a property
Look for an official property-owner or landlord submission route.
Sell products
Look for a brand, vendor or seller onboarding route. Product listing does not require you to operate a dark store.
Current route comparison
The table below describes only routes we could verify from official public sources in this review. Availability, city coverage and commercial terms can change.
| Company | Operate / Franchise | Property | Seller / Brand |
|---|---|---|---|
| Blinkit | Verified Partner Store | Verified Rent your property | Verified Seller route |
| Swiggy Instamart | Verified Franchise Partner | Verified Property route | Verified Seller route |
| Zepto | Verified Franchise / Growth Partner | Check No public landlord form verified | Verified Brand/vendor onboarding |
| Amazon Now | Check No public operator route verified | Check No public landlord form verified | Check Amazon seller ecosystem exists; no separate Now-specific public route verified here |
| Flipkart Minutes | Check No public operator route verified | Check No public landlord form verified | Check Marketplace selling is separate; Minutes placement is not guaranteed |
It means we did not find a comparable public self-service route for that specific opportunity in this review. We would rather leave a route unverified than invent an application process.
Blinkit
Partner Store · Property · Seller
Blinkit’s official partnership hub currently separates three routes: entrepreneurs can explore Partner Stores, property owners can submit suitable space, and sellers can list products.
- Operate: Blinkit Partner Store
- Property: Rent your property
- Seller: Available from Blinkit’s official partnership hub.
Swiggy Instamart
Franchise Partner · Property · Seller
Instamart’s official partner page currently invites franchise partners, sellers and property owners. It lists entrepreneurs, professionals and FMCG sellers/distributors among the profiles that can explore its franchise-partner route.
- Operate: Become a Franchise Partner
- Property: Rent your property for an Instamart dark store
- Seller: Onboard your brand / become a seller
Zepto
Growth Partner / Franchise · Brand onboarding
Zepto operates dark stores directly and through Growth Partners. Its 2026 investor filing states that 36.61% of dark stores were operated by Growth Partners as of 31 March 2026. Zepto also runs a public brand/vendor onboarding portal for businesses that want to sell through the platform.
- Operate: Zepto Franchise portal
- Seller: Zepto brand onboarding
- Property: Directly operated stores are leased, but no public landlord submission form was verified in this review.
Amazon Now
Specialised fulfilment network
Amazon has announced plans to scale Amazon Now to more than 300 Indian cities and is expanding specialised fulfilment infrastructure. Amazon also says products on Now are offered by sellers. However, we did not verify a public self-service dark-store franchise/operator or landlord route comparable to Blinkit or Instamart.
Flipkart Minutes
Micro-fulfilment network
Flipkart reported in September 2026 that Minutes had expanded to nearly 1,200 micro-fulfilment centres across 150+ cities. That confirms a substantial network, but it does not by itself establish a public franchise or property-owner programme. We did not verify such a self-service route in this review.
How to compare companies without getting misled
Compare the route, not the logo
If you own property, a public property route matters more than a famous brand name. If you want to operate, look for a verified operator programme.
Use the official entry point
Start from a company-owned domain. Third-party consultants can assist, but they should not replace verification.
Separate public availability from city approval
A programme can exist nationally while your specific city, catchment or profile is not currently required.
Verify commercials in writing
Investment, fees, margins, lease terms and responsibilities should come from the actual current proposal or agreement.
Recheck before paying
Company models change. A page last checked today can still be updated later, so verify again at the transaction stage.
What we deliberately do not rank
We do not publish a “best dark store company” ranking because the right route depends on your role, city, property, operating capability and the programme currently open to you. A neutral directory is more useful than a generic winner.
If a website quotes a fixed fee, margin, monthly profit or guaranteed ROI, ask whether that figure appears in a current official company document or in the specific agreement being offered to you. Do not treat a search-result snippet as commercial confirmation.
Frequently asked questions
Which companies currently have a public dark-store operator route?
In our current review, Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart and Zepto have publicly accessible partner/franchise routes. Availability for your city or profile is still subject to the relevant company’s process.
Which companies publicly accept property submissions?
Blinkit and Swiggy Instamart currently publish property routes. We did not verify comparable public landlord forms for Zepto, Amazon Now or Flipkart Minutes in this review.
Can I apply to more than one company?
At the enquiry stage, you can generally explore multiple legitimate routes unless you have already accepted exclusivity or other contractual restrictions. Keep your representations accurate.
Does a seller route mean I can operate a dark store?
No. Seller/brand onboarding, property leasing and dark-store operations are separate business relationships.
Why is a company listed even if no public franchise route is shown?
This page is also a network-information directory. Showing the difference between “large quick-commerce network” and “public opportunity route” helps prevent users from assuming every company sells a franchise.
Not sure which route fits your profile?
Use consultation when you need help choosing between operator, property and seller routes. If you already know the route and an official application link is available above, you can use it directly without paying an adviser just to access the link.
